McEnany is not having it.
Tapper’s comments are just “a therapy session for a broken network,” says McEnany. White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany ripped into Jake Tapper after the CNN host claimed he refuses to have her on his show because she “lies all the time.” “She can’t acknowledge reality,” Tapper told Brian Stelter on Sunday. “So, I am just not going to put somebody like that on air.” Tapper doubled down saying McEnany lies “the way that most people breath.” McEnany challenged Tapper to back up his claims with evidence.
“This is a therapy session for a broken network, and @jaketapper is lazy enough to participate by lobbing baseless personal attacks, with ZERO evidence,” McEnany tweeted. She then pointed out the fact that it was CNN who ran with the “Russian collusion” narrative along with the rest of the mainstream media. “Jake’s real problem: I do not leak. I do not lie,” wrote McEnany. “But I Do call out the lies of the media (i.e. CNN Russia collusion hoax!).”
Tapper added Jason Miller, a communications strategist and political advisor, to his list of those who “are just so mendacious I just wouldn’t put them on air.” Tapper made his comments on Stelter’s show “Reliable Sources.”
