‘Leak’ in the Oval Office

There is a leak in the White House, according to former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne.

Byrne invested early in e-commerce, buying Overstock in 1999 and developing the company into a multi-million-dollar business. Overstock grew even against competition from the likes of Amazon with Byrne at the helm.

Byrne was also chairman of the Milton and Rose D. Friedman Foundation for ten years. He was educated at Dartmouth, Cambridge, and Stanford where he earned his Ph.D.

The former CEO now runs DeepCapture.com, a website publishing provocative articles discussing the rigging of the 2020 presidential election, bribery, blackmail, cyberwar, and other exposés.

“It’s proper etiquette if you get a chance to be in the White House, and certainly in the Oval Office, one never is supposed to discuss what was discussed,” said Byrne in an interview.

“However, 12 hours after I walked out of the Oval Office there was a leak in The New York Times about that meeting.”

Byrne believes the leak came from current White House Counsel Pat Cipollone. White House Counsel, a senior staff appointment, advises the President and Vice President on legal issues concerning the presidential administration.

Axios claimed that Trump “turn[ed] on” and “lash[ed] out” at Cipollone making him a “target” of the President’s “outrage” at a recent meeting at the White House.

According to Byrne, who was also present at the Oval Office meeting, says that the opposite is the case.

Byrne believes Cipollone leaked misinformation to NYT reporter Maggie Haberman.

“12 or 14 hours after I walked out—just after midnight—of the White House there was by mid-afternoon the next day, there was this whole story about the meeting. The meeting was…spun so badly,” lamented Byrne.

“If that guy who was in the meeting can leak and lie like a little weasel about what happened, it's incumbent upon me…If he can lie through leaks, I can tell the truth publicly.”

“I’m telling the truth publicly,” admitted Byrne. “The New York Times wrote a heavily spun version and there were some outright fabrications in it.”

The NYT article alleged Trump “asked about” Martial Law at one point during the White House meeting, giving the impression to readers that the President is more seriously considering the option more than he really is.

Byrne says this is “absolutely false” and that neither Martial Law nor the Insurrection Act of 1807 was discussed in the meeting.

“That was pure fabrication on the part of the leaker,” said Byrne.

President Trump blasted allegations that he was imposing Martial Law tweeting “Martial law = Fake News. Just more knowingly bad reporting!”

Gen. Flynn, Trump’s former national security advisor, appeared on Newsmax and discussed the President’s options regarding Martial Law.

“He could immediately on his order seize every single one of these machines around the country on his order. He could also order, within the swing states, if he wanted to, he could take military capabilities and he could place them in those states and basically rerun an election in each of those states. It's not unprecedented,” said Flynn.

“I mean, these people are out there talking about martial law like it’s something that we've never done. Martial law has been instituted 64 times,” he continued.

L. Lin Wood, an attorney litigating on behalf of President Trump, believes Trump in fact did beat Joe Biden in the 2020 election. And he believes it appears Joe Biden won because the US has been infiltrated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

“Why has no court looked at it? I believe that the Communist Party has infiltrated this country. I think they’ve done it over the course of the last two or three decades. Just like they’ve said they would. Just the way Communism works,” said Wood.

According to Wood, Trump should enforce Martial Law in order to “seize the voting machines and the paper ballots in the seven swing states.” “Let’s find out what happened,” Wood said. “The people are not going to accept an election result until they know that it is honest.”

“Whether you call it Martial Law or whether you call it the Executive Order or whether you call it the executive power of the executive office of the presidency, president trump has the legal authority to uphold his oath of office to make sure that the laws of this country are faithfully executed. That’s his duty. That’s what the people elected him to do.”

Byrne was interviewed by Jerome Corsi and discussed Trump's path to victory here.
